Am I a Witch?

A verdict computed from a real birth chart at a real hour, not a quiz. Twelve witnesses attend the casting.

Launching October 2026.

What it does

A chart, not a questionnaire

A real chart from a real hour. You give a date, a time and a place; nothing else is asked of you.

Twelve witnesses — the asteroids and dark points most astrology never touches, examined alongside the familiar bodies.

A verdict with a lineage: Hedge, Sea, Hearth, Storm, Green or Bone. One is named, and the reasoning is shown. Read what each of the six types of witches means.

A share card built to circulate, drawn from your own sky rather than a template.

The Oracle

An authored voice

The Oracle of Almagestral, drawn in gold line work against a night sky

She reads currents, never chains. Weather, never doom. She names your own will as a force equal to any star, and she will say so plainly when the sky has nothing to add.

The chart is computed. The voice is written. Two engines stand behind the product: the astronomical computation involves no artificial intelligence at all, while the Oracle's voice is written by an AI and is marked as such wherever it appears. The second can be switched off and the first stays whole.

The gate

Said plainly

Casting is free. The first six placements read free. The rest of the sky distorts behind the payment.

No advertising. No data sale. No free tier subsidised by either — every model call this product makes is made for somebody who has already paid.

What it opens into

The Almagestral Celestial Atlas

A rendered sky you stand inside and turn with your hand, not a page you read.

  • Solar returns, progressed skies, and bond weaves between two charts.
  • A keepsake chart drawn as ink on parchment, printable.
  • The Oracle's own room, where everything known about you stands with her.

For practitioners

If you read charts for others

A client book that holds every chart you have cast, with branded print-ready exports you can put your own name on. Five relational weaves to set two charts against one another. Enneagram and Jungian instruments sit beside the chart rather than under it, so a session can move between them without leaving the room.

What you make with it is yours to shape. almagestral.com carries the practitioner terms.

Questions

Before the launch

What is a witch chart?
A birth chart read for one question rather than for a personality sketch. It is computed from your date, hour and place of birth, and it weighs the points that older astrology set aside — the asteroids, the dark points, the lunar apogee — instead of stopping at the ten familiar bodies.
What are the six kinds?
Hedge, Sea, Hearth, Storm, Green and Bone. A lineage is assigned from where the weight of the chart actually falls, and the verdict names one. They are descriptions of temperament and terrain, not ranks.
What is Black Moon Lilith?
The lunar apogee — the far point of the Moon's orbit around the Earth, not a body at all. It is a computed point, and it is one of the twelve witnesses the verdict consults. Most astrology software will not show it to you.
What does the verdict use?
Real ephemeris positions for the hour and place you give, checked against Swiss reference values. Twelve witnesses are examined, the witch marks are counted, and a lineage is named. Nothing is drawn from a questionnaire, because you are never asked one.
Does it cost anything?
The verdict is $2.99, once. There is no subscription attached to it and no advertising on it. The Almagestral Atlas, which the verdict opens into, is a separate subscription.
